Two cybersecurity firms have joined forces to deliver enterprise-grade protection to small and medium-sized businesses through a new managed detection and response offering.
SonicWall, which provides network security and threat detection systems, has partnered with CrowdStrike, a provider of cloud-based endpoint protection platforms, to launch a managed detection and response (MDR) service that combines security monitoring, threat detection and incident response into a single managed offering.

The service integrates CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform, which uses AI to detect and respond to threats at the endpoint level – including laptops, servers and mobile devices – with SonicWall’s round-the-clock security operations centre.

The partnership targets managed service providers (MSPs) – IT firms that remotely manage their customers’ technology infrastructure and security systems – who serve small and medium-sized businesses.
